3 Effective Ways to Postpone Coming, Safe and Lack of Risk

Already have a mature plan from a long time ago, of course it is annoying, right, if you suddenly arrive on the D-day? Calm down first. There are various ways to delay menstruation safely so that you can still enjoy your vacation, worship trip, or business trip without worrying about "leaking". As long as you keep consulting the doctor first, yes, before the day of departure!

Various ways to delay menstruation that have minimal risk
1. Take combination birth control pills

How to delay menstruation is done if you have routinely taken combination birth control pills. Just take an active pill, while the empty pill (placebo) doesn't need to be taken.

If you continue to take active pills within a few days, your menstrual cycle will stop. Your period will resume as usual if you stop taking active pills.

In order for you to know exactly which pills are genuine and which are empty, consult a doctor or pharmacist first. Tell them that you will take a long trip so you need to postpone temporary menstruation.

You need to know, generally after stopping taking active pills you will experience blood spots and this is normal. However, some women may bleed too much. If you have this, you should immediately see a doctor. Your doctor may replace your prescription pill with another type of pill.

2. Take norethisterone medication

Norethisterone pills are usually used as a way to delay menstruation by women who do not take birth control pills. The drug norethisterone contains an artificial progesterone hormone that can be used to treat menstrual pain, excessive bleeding during menstruation, delay menstruation, and prevent pregnancy.

This delaying drug can only be redeemed using a prescription, so if you plan to go on a long trip you should consult a doctor from far in advance to get the right dose.

Start taking this medication about 3-4 days before your normal menstrual schedule. Continue taking the medication according to the dosage and frequency instructions the doctor has given you want to return to your period again.

Your period will generally return to normal once you stop taking medication. While in other cases it may take around 10-15 days for menstruation to come again. Basically every woman is different. But if you don't have menstruation even after 15 days have finished taking medication, immediately consult a doctor.

It is important to note that this drug is not recommended for women who have blood clotting disorders.

3. Other ways

Taking birth control pills is not the only way to delay menstruation. Another way you can postpone your period is to use a progesterone IUD, a progestin injection, and use a vaginal ring (NuvaRing).

Consult your doctor to determine which choice is best for your condition and lifestyle.

Before you get your period, pay attention to this first!

Do not just take drugs that contain hormones just to delay menstruation. If you keep doing it, it's not impossible that your menstrual cycle will become chaotic and can even affect your overall health condition.

Although some birth control pills may be easily purchased at the nearest pharmacy or drug store, it's a good idea to keep consulting the obstetrician first. The doctor will prescribe the type and dosage of the drug that suits your needs.

Not only that, it is important to understand that not all women must succeed in delaying menstruation with the methods mentioned above. Because drugs that contain hormones may not work optimally, so there is still a possibility for you to menstruate. Even if you don't experience menstruation, sometimes patches (mild bleeding) can also occur.

If your reason for delaying your period is to go on vacation, worship, or take another long trip, it's a good idea to keep preparing sanitary napkins or tampons. So, if at any time you menstruate, you don't need to panic anymore.

The Mandatory Bathing Method for the Right Woman According to Islam

In Islamic teachings, to carry out worship which is part of the pillars of Islam and its nature habluminnaullah (dealing directly with Allah, in the form of rituals) it is obligatory to be pure and clean. Not just clean and holy when carrying out ritual worship, more than that Islamic teachings do indeed order the people to always keep themselves clean. As in a hadith it is stated that cleanliness is part of faith. This, as stated in the Koran: "O ye who believe, if you are going to pray, then wash your face and your hands up to your elbows, and sweep your head and (wash) your feet up to both ankles, and if you junub then take a bath, and if you are sick or deep traveling or returning from a toilet or touching a woman, then you do not get water, then mix with good soil (clean); brush your face and your hand with the land. God does not want to trouble you, but He wants to cleanse you and perfect His blessings for you, so that you will be grateful. "(QS: Al-Maidah: 6) Prohibiti...

The Law of Eating Food for the Rest of Others in Islam

On the previous occasion, we have briefly reviewed some of the ways of eating the Prophet, one of which is to spend the remaining food on a plate or tray where you eat. Spending the rest of the food actually has its own philosophy of appreciating the blessings given by Allah SWT. Islam forbids his people from wasting the sustenance obtained. And therefore, as Muslims we must respect every drop of water and every seed of food that is available by not wasting the food or drink and using it for a positive purpose. The rewards that we give to food or drink are actually a form of our gratitude for God's favor. Therefore in one of the narrations of the Prophet sallallaahu ahu alaihi wasallam always licked the leftover food stuck to the fingers of his hand. From Jabir bin ‘Abdillah he said that the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wasallam said, "Don't sweep his hand with a napkin before he licks his finger. Because he doesn't know which food brings blessings. "(Narrated by M...
