Story of Wisdom: Ambition of Umar bin Abdul Aziz "Tomorrow is Better than Today"

Raja 'bin Hayat (a sincere minister of Umar bin Abdul Aziz) told me, "I was with Umar bin Abdul Aziz when he was ruler of Medina. He sent me to buy clothes for him. Then I bought clothes for five hundred dirhams. When he saw it, he commented, "This is good, but unfortunately it's cheap."

And when he became a caliph, he once sent me to buy clothes for him. Then I bought clothes for him for five dirhams. When he saw the clothes, he commented. ‘This is good, it's just expensive."

Raja 'continues his story, "When I heard these words, I burst into tears. Then Umar asked, "What makes you cry, O King?" I replied, "I remember your clothes a few years ago and your comment about the clothes." Then Umar revealed the secrets of the matter to Raja 'bin Hayat. He said, 'O King'! Really, I have an ambitious soul. If I have managed to realize something, surely I want something on it again. I had the desire to marry my uncle's daughter, Fatimah bint Abdul Malik. I also managed to marry her. Then I want to hold leadership. I also managed to hold power. Then I want to hold the khilafah. I also managed to become a caliph. And now, O King ', I want to get heaven, so I hope to be an expert on heaven. "

Umar bin Abdul Aziz heard the news that one of his sons made a ring and put on a ring of stones worth a thousand dirhams. Then he wrote a letter to his son, "I heard that you bought a ring stone for your ring for a thousand dirhams. Therefore, sell and use the money to make a thousand people hungry. Make an iron ring and write on it, "May God bless those who realize their own position."

The Mandatory Bathing Method for the Right Woman According to Islam

In Islamic teachings, to carry out worship which is part of the pillars of Islam and its nature habluminnaullah (dealing directly with Allah, in the form of rituals) it is obligatory to be pure and clean. Not just clean and holy when carrying out ritual worship, more than that Islamic teachings do indeed order the people to always keep themselves clean. As in a hadith it is stated that cleanliness is part of faith. This, as stated in the Koran: "O ye who believe, if you are going to pray, then wash your face and your hands up to your elbows, and sweep your head and (wash) your feet up to both ankles, and if you junub then take a bath, and if you are sick or deep traveling or returning from a toilet or touching a woman, then you do not get water, then mix with good soil (clean); brush your face and your hand with the land. God does not want to trouble you, but He wants to cleanse you and perfect His blessings for you, so that you will be grateful. "(QS: Al-Maidah: 6) Prohibiti...

The Law of Eating Food for the Rest of Others in Islam

On the previous occasion, we have briefly reviewed some of the ways of eating the Prophet, one of which is to spend the remaining food on a plate or tray where you eat. Spending the rest of the food actually has its own philosophy of appreciating the blessings given by Allah SWT. Islam forbids his people from wasting the sustenance obtained. And therefore, as Muslims we must respect every drop of water and every seed of food that is available by not wasting the food or drink and using it for a positive purpose. The rewards that we give to food or drink are actually a form of our gratitude for God's favor. Therefore in one of the narrations of the Prophet sallallaahu ahu alaihi wasallam always licked the leftover food stuck to the fingers of his hand. From Jabir bin ‘Abdillah he said that the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wasallam said, "Don't sweep his hand with a napkin before he licks his finger. Because he doesn't know which food brings blessings. "(Narrated by M...

The trumpet is Jewish Culture

The trumpet is Jewish culture. But that is what the Muslims did on New Year's Eve, just following Jewish culture. Don't believe? Please reflect on the following hadith. From Abu ‘Umair bin Anas from his aunt who included Ansar shahabiyah, . عن أبى عمير بن أنس عن عمومة له من الأنصار قال اهتم النبى -صلى الله عليه وسلم- للصلاة كيف يجمع الناس لها فقيل له انصب راية عند حضور ال...
