Bismillah

JANGAN TERPEDAYA DENGAN GEMERLAP DUNIA.. !!

رَغِيْفُ خُبْزٍ يَابِسٍ = تَأْكُلُهُ فِي زَاوِيَةْ

“Sepotong roti kering yang engkau makan di pojokan….”

وَكُوْزُ ماءٍ باردٍ = تَشْرَبُهُ مِنْ صَافِيَةْ

“Dan secangkir air dingin yang kau minum dari mata air yang jernih….”

وَغُرْفَةٌ ضَيِّقَةٌ = نَفْسُكَ فِيْهَا خَالِيَةْ

“Dan kamar sempit yang jiwamu merasa kosong di dalamnya…”

أَوْ مَسْجِدٌ بِمَعْزِلٍ = عَنِ الْوَرَى فِي نَاحِيَةْ

“Atau mesjid yang terasing dan jauh dari manusia, lalu engkau berada di sudut mesjid tersebut…”

تَقْرَأُ فِيْهِ مُصْحَفاً = مُسْتَنِداً لِسَارِيَةْ

“Engkau membaca Al-Qur’an sambil bersandaran di sebuah tiang mesjid…”

مُعْتَبِراً بِمَنْ مَضَى = مِنَ الْقُرُوْنِ الْخَالِيَةْ

“Seraya mengambil ibroh/pelajaran dari kisah-kisah orang-orang terdahulu yang telah tiada…”

خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعَاتِ فِي = فَيْءِ الْقُصُوْرِ الْعَالِيَةْ

“Itu lebih baik daripada berlama-lama di dalam istana-istana yang megah…”

تَعْقُبُهَا عُقُوْبَةٌ = تَصْلَى بِنَارٍ حَامِيَةْ

“Yang akhirnya mengakibatkan dosa yang menyebabkan engkau masuk dalam api yang panas…”

فَهَذِهِ وَصِيَتِي = مُخْبِرَةٌُ بِحَالِيَةْ

“Ini adalah washiatku yang mengabarkan tentang dirinya…”

طُوْبَى لِمَنْ يَسْمَعُهَا = تِلْكَ لَعُمْرِي كَافِيَةْ

“Sungguh beruntung orang yang mendengarnya…demi Allah washiat ini sudahlah cukup (memberi pelajaran…)”

فَاسْمَعْ لِنُصْحِ مُشْفِقٍ = يُدْعَى أَبَا الْعَتَاهِيَةْ

“Maka dengarlah nasehat orang yang sayang dan khawatir kepadamu yang dikenal dengan Abul ‘Ataahiyah..”

Sungguh indah sya’ir Abul ‘Ataahiyah di atas, terutama bagi yang mengerti bahasa arab.

Sedikit waktu yang disempatkan untuk membaca Al-Qur’an di pojokan mesjid jauh dari pandangan manusia…ternyata jauh lebih bernilai dari kemegahan istana yang hanya sementara.

Benarlah jika Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam menyatakan ;

رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيْهَا

“Sholat sunnah dua rakaat qobliah subuh lebih baik daripada dunia dan seisinya”

Janganlah terpedaya dengan kenikmatan dunia…sesungguhnya ia adalah kenikmatan yang semu dan sementara…

Ingatlah akan kenikmatan akhirat yang jauh lebih baik dan abadi.
Jika seseorang disuruh memilih mendapatkan kenikmatan secangkir susu, akan tetapi kapan saja bisa ia minum dan tersedia, atau memilih kambing guling akan tetapi hanya sekali saja bisa santap, tentu orang yang berakal akan memilih secangkir susu –meskipun sedikit- akan tetapi terus tersedia selama puluhan tahun, kapan saja siap untuk diminum.

Maka bagaimana lagi jika perkaranya sebaliknya…kambing guling yang terus siap tersedia kapan saja bisa disantap, dibandingkan dengan secangkir susu yang hanya bisa sekali diminum??

Bagaimana lagi dengan hanya secangkir air putih…???

Demikianlah…kenikmatan dunia selain sedikit iapun fana dan akan sirna. Adapun kenikmatan akhirat sangat banyak dan abadi…

Jika engkau terpedaya dan terkagum-kagum bahkan kepingin tatkala melihat kenikmatan dan kemewahan benda-benda dunia, sedangkan engkau sedang menghadapi sulitnya kehidupan dunia maka agar engkau tidak terpedaya… ucapkanlah doa yang diucapkan oleh Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam :

اللَّهُمَّ لاَ عَيْشَ إِلاَّ عَيْشُ الآخِرَةِ

“Yaa Allah tidak ada kehidupan yang hakiki kecuali kehidupan akhirat” (HR Al-Bukhari dan Muslim)

Doa ini Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ucapkan tatkala Nabi dan para sahabat kaum muhajirin dan anshor sedang menggali parit dalam perang Khandak, sementara perut-perut mereka keroncongan karena kelaparan, bahkan mereka mengikatkan batu ke perut-perut mereka untuk menahan rasa lapar.
